Spitalfields
Spitalfields is a former parish in the borough of Tower Hamlets, in the East End of London, near to Liverpool Street station and Brick Lane. Famous for its Sunday Market which began in the 17th century as a result Spitafields remains an important cultural and art centre with local residents including Tracey Emin.
